Is it better to use Cooling pad or it result more in collecting dust ?

Given that these laptops have sufficient cooling themselves, a cooling pad shouldn't make a difference. If it makes it more comfortable for you or raises it up enough to get a bit better cooling, go ahead.
Not necessary by any means. -
My room environment collect dust easily, So wondering if using a cooling pad could prevent that

For this laptop i wouldn't waste your money, the cooling is good enough. Just make sure to dust out the vents every once in a while.Ramzay likes this. -
cool, will stick with the advise

Indeed, not all laptops require/benefit from a cooling pad.
It's usually thin, multimedia notebooks that benefit from them, as they weren't really designed with gaming in mind, and that's reflected in poor cooling. -

This is true. On the other hand, Alienware systems are designed to game and their cooling systems are great at getting rid of the heat. A cooling pad on our systems would not drop the temperature more than just a couple degrees. -
Agreed. I tried my cooling pad when gaming with my previous AW17 R2, and saw no noticeable improvement in temps.

I use one. Just to keep the heat off my legs when gaming.
I play games while in bed. Don't judge me. -
used to do that but current laptop is like 5 years and i can boil a egg without running game
