according to intel they're all capable but i've not heard anyone test it
-
Nobody knows yet. I would also like to know which offers better performance.
-
As far as I know, TB3 can use up to 4X PCIe lanes which I believe is the same as the AW GA. My guess is, if it DID work, performance would be about the same.
-
The GA automatically enables the aw laptops to be overclocked though.
-
What does this mean? I'm not too sure, were you referring to o/c the cpu or gpu? Do you set the settings in the GA or something?
-
The memory will be clocked higher when using the GA. Also all resources available will be used for the cpu and the gpu will be disabled. This can be disabled in the bios as well.
-
you can oc bclk too
-
I will be buying the Razer Core when it comes out to test it.
-
I think that given all the integration on the bios level with the AGA it is the right choice for alienware owners. Especially as it disables the gpu on the bios level which is great for heat and compatibility
Does the latest alienware laptops works with thunderbolt 3 usb type-c eGPU boxes?
