    Im awaiting my New Motherboard of same specs 17-4980HQ replacing the damage unit.

    My problem is... after putting back the new mobo....what are the next steps? should I press the power right away? What should I expect? What should I prepare before booting?

    Once all cables, ram, and hard drives are in place; it should just work. Rare reports of people needing to flash the bios, but otherwise nothing but powering it up is needed.
