    Hey guys, so I just received my new Alienware with windows 10 preloaded but since I had a 500gb SSD sitting around, I swopped it right in but realized that the files I got on my thumbdrive only supported a recovery but not a fresh install on a fresh SSD. I have looked on Dell's website but did not catch any breaks. Maybe I missed something but I am pretty sure I went through everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    You would be far better to do a clean install using the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, the install by Dell is shockingly bad. Get your Nvidia and Killer Network drivers from the manufacturer websites, everything else from the Dell support page for your machine. :)

    That's an option. You could also try cloning the drive.
