Thank You, I an aware of this flaw, and that alone (thanks to this community) was enough to return their laptop before even trying it.

I mean, if you already have it (buy new, buy refurbished etc) from US/EU/CAN reseller there's a 15/30 day that you can play with it before returning for full refund.
I suggest that you open it up and study the inside, conduct some experiment to see if you can fix the thermal issues etc.
It's a fun activity (for me at least) to observe and learn about a failed product.

After experimenting, we can pass the test with flying colors.
The new 6 core Coffeelake BGA will require LM to perform optimally, isn't that correct @Mobius 1 ?Vistar Shook likes this. -
offcoarse, that's called logic, and i haven't stated anything else. only thing i stated is that BGA is a flawed product compared to LGA chips, just like max-q is inferior to he full chip counterparts of the gpu's. anyone can make a tripod design, the fact is that you cannot seem to comprehend that a tripod design is not appropriate enought to cool a cpu that has a shared heatsink. and DELL/Alienware knew that.Papusan and Vistar Shook like this.

Comprehend, well I did with flying colors

core imbalance also still a issue, so it's not going away soon. this is all due tripod design, and there is no escaping off with a simple firestrike score.. that's trying to change the subject when there is a persistent issue for 2 years already ! .. pretty sad considering the money we pay for the machines and "R&D"
