    If you want to game at FHD then get 1070 and i7 version. Save some cash and invest in good SSD and RAM if you want max performance.

    Even if it wasn’t locked I don’t believe the higher frequency RAM is with the extra cost - not by a long shot.

    Yes indeed. That Piece of crap BIOS won't let you max out the performance of both CPU and GPU when both are 100% loaded.
    Then again, 2667MHz RAM is supported w/o BIOS mods.

    I bought almost the same system for $2,600 at the outlet center on a scratch and dent. i9, 1080, 32GB, 512 NvMe, 1 TB and a 1440 screen. Took me an hour to find the scratch.
