Just a bit of sharing on the experience i got with the problems you mentioned.
1. i recently noticed the network dropping once in a while intermittently. i thought it was caused by the new killer unified driver because previously i didnt have this problem and the driver for E2400 and E2500 were separated. killer just recently updated their unified driver again. you can give it a go see if it resolved the issue.
2. tobii refused to work after resume from standby is a known issue and it's not alienware's fault. tobii is actually aware of this problem and it was caused by the driver/software not pulling panel info fast enough when resume from standby. It will be fixed with the next tobii driver update.
3. i never had any issues with alienfx. work as intended. then again my system is the 6820HK skylake version.

Network - yep had the same thing really but following the boards I knew there was a solution (had the same issue with my 15r3 and a bit surprised that AW didn't install the fixed driver) - mine was doing that and would drop under heavy load (downloading steam games) - http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...ed-the-disconnect.800809/page-4#post-10474816
Tobii is new and cool for me! but I've never liked to put my computer to sleep as it used to cause issues long time ago ( and still seems like it does
) so I just leave it on all day and then at night I shut it down and unplug it.
AlienFx - I've not had that issue yet but I know people have said to uninstall / reinstall and that usually takes care of all problems with AlienFx -
@Farson: These are the new drivers from Killer called Killer Control Center http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/item/killer-control-center-x64
Why no 7820HK and GTX 1080 on the New AW 17?
