    Hi guys,
    I have the 17 R4 with 6700HQ and GTX1070 with QHD gsync screen. If I find the 6820HK or (7820HK) - GTX1080 motherboard on ebay can I just swap it and work without any issues?
    I would like to upgrade mainly because of the cpu because I am doing some heavy 3d rendering tasks and the 6700HQ is too weak for my use.

    I think you can. Ask @bloodhawk he did swap 6700HQ with 1070/1080 to 6820HK and 1080.

    Yeap. Till the time both systems have the same Tobii Module. or you will need to get the appropriate cable.

    Till now I cant find any motherboard on ebay, they have available the 6700hq + 1070 only. Where did you get yours? this price is awesome
