a friend and I were setting up his 17r4 and after installing windows, and all divers on a new sad. We reset the boot order to be off legacy, and on uefi, to use secure login. This made it unbootable and we had to switch back to legacy and restore windows back to pre driver install so it would boot. Then had to reinstall all the drivers. It seems now that it boots slower. Does that make sense? Should we wipe the drive and start over with a clean drive with windows?

What are we missing without uefi and secure login?
