Hello, I have an AW m11x, and it is a wonderful laptop, but due to the small screen, it is causing me to look downwards and have a bad computer posture. The screen is not eye-level, so I am looking into getting an external monitor.

My original plan was to purchase the Samsung px2370 for $330, which I have exactly the amount in hand right now, but I'm probably going to need a new keyboard, which I was planning on purchasing the Logitech g510. I'm wondering if there are any other external monitors that are cheaper that you can recommend. I'm looking for something that's screen is 23-26", has at least 1386x768 Resolution, and has similar performance. For around $150-200 dollars.

The tasks I will be doing are: Gaming (with laptop or ps3), watching movies, or watching TV.

Preferable brands are: Asus, Samsung, toshiba.
There was a 24" Asus monitor that I saw at my Local Best Buy, but it was $249 without tax.

have u ever thought about a docking station or some kind of cooler to make yur laptop more closer to eye-level? it would be alot cheaper unless u really want to go with the external monitor route.

there have been so many monitor/tv deals within the last month or 2 that it would just be better if u compared them yurself. just go over to slickdeals.net and search up 'LCD monitor' or somethin.

Yes I have, however that would raise my laptop and it would also raise my keyboard, therefore causing more un-ergonomic pain :(

I am planning to buy an external monitor eventually, but I just need to re-evaluate my options.

dock/stand/cooler + keyboard for now. save up for nice monitor later.

keyboard + external monitor would be ideal, but also be the more expensive option.

I guess I'll save up for that external Monitor and keyboard, I'm about 120 bucks short, so it shouldn't take long to save up for that.

Then after that I have to get a nice new webcam too x) logitech c910... unless there's a higher quality webcam out there x)

logitech c910 is a good webcam right?
