Hey guys. Since my laptop has replaced my desktop, and I pretty much use my laptop for everything (form work to some light gaming) I decided to make my laptop more comfortable for use.
The laptop I use is a 12" and has the following specs: 2.2 GHZ Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, and 128 MB nVidia gfx card.

You can imagine, that after extended use, the laptop does get a bit uncomfortable.

I found an LG cordless keyboard/mouse combo that I hooked on to the 12" laptop. I decided, why stop there when I can also get myself a bigger screen? So I bought myself a 20" LCD panel as well.
    Here are some pics:

I just got the flat panel today. Now, whenever I'm at home, I just hook my laptop up to the LCD panel and my keyboard/mouse and just tuck away my laptop. A lot more comfortable to use :D

Looks like a pretty sweet setup you have there omni!

What monitor is that? I've been in the market for one for quite some time now, but so far, I haven't found any really good ones for under $200

Hey everyone! Thanks for the feedback.

And Cromson, that is the Acer AL2016WBbd, which I bought from NewEgg during the labor day sale. With the Labor Day weekend savings, and tax included, and free S&H, the order came out to $181. Here's the link, but unfortunately, the savings is gone :(.

It's a 20" monitor...really amazing! Have had no complaints. If your room gets really sunny and bright at times of day, then this monitor will be perfect, since its so bright. I had to reduce the brightness down to make it comfortable.

    Edit:

It was only cleaned for the picture. I don't know how long it is gonna stay clean like that, lol.
