The comments on the article were much more useful than the article itself, don't miss out on them.

I'm not that crazy about most of them - I'm trying hard to find a good case/sleeve combo (preferable a bag w/ a removable sleeve) that doesn't cost upwards of $200...$100 is prob. that most I want to spend.

I like the look of the Booq products, but they're big time expensive as well... http://www.booqbags.com/index.html

You guys see any good ones for a 14" widescreen?

    Interesting stuff...

I didn't see any of Crumpler's bags on there though, maybe its' weirdness scared them off.

What do you think about their bags? I like the look - my only concern is that it doesn't look like there's much padding.

It's made out of KEVLAR, bullet-proof goodness.

I know it's durable and I'll use it as a makeshift bulletproof vest, but what if I drop it with my laptop in it?

At least if it's shot on the way down it won't be hurt?

I don't know I don't have much experience with those cases, but I'd hope they're well-padded if meant to be laptop bags.

And, if not, you could try to put a play on words and get a viable lawsuit going.

I use and have enjoyed my Dell backpack (has blue button on it that says "dude") I believe it was 50-60 dollars and I'm still using it four years later.

I like the aluminum cases and wood ones but particularly the aluminum (falcon NW uses those) and the one in the article was nice also.

They seem pretty thin - which I like...except that the cushioning doesn't exactly scream "Trust Me".

I like the look - my wife thinks it's ugly but it's my style.

    Maybe with a good sleeve?
