boy, laptop sleeve searching is an exhausting process...

I'm looking for a bag for my dv5000z; thing is, with the included 12-cell battery, the laptop's height jumps to 1.7" (the front is 1.3" thin.) So, for my 14.1" by 10.4" by 1.7" inch laptop, I'm considering the following (I'm looking for a relatively snug, well-padded sleeve:

The sumdex is about a quarter inch too short in length. What do you think? Will the memory foam material stretch enough to accomodate the 14" laptop?

The casepc will fit well, but I don't see any information as to whether it provides adequate padding. I want to protect against scratches and accidental bumps.

Any comments or suggestions? I'm gonna go nuts if I don't decide soon! :(
