Okay, i am stuck between 3 sleeves, and a bag.

I just bought the Targus Urban messenger bag...
    http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=TSM005US

I like it... but it does feel a TAD bit too thin. I wish the main compartment had an extra... ohh... i'd say inch. :) i could then squeeze in an extra book or folder.

    Anyways, back to the sleeves...
I wanted a TOUGH sleeve for my W7J laptop (13.3" ). Something that offers serious protection! (so that like... putting alot of books in there, or pressure, wont crack the laptop screen/lid)

Ive heard about the Waterfield sleeves,

    http://www.sfbags.com

but im wondering if anyone can vouch for their toughness? Is the padding sufficient? will it fend off pressure from books and other things in my bag? Will it hold better or worse then my 2nd choice, a ZeroShock from Shinza.

For example, i know i can toss a Shinza ZeroShock into a backpack full of books

(or so i've been lead to believe, anyways, based on forum input and website input.. http://shinza.com/product_info.php?products_id=45 ),

and have it come away with little-to-no damage, with no problems. Can a Waterfield sleeve do that as well?

The Booq vyper is out, since i hear its not all that great...

And the AXIO HardsleeveSM looks awesome, but for the price, meh... seems like overkill? (VERY expensivooooo)
    http://www.axio-usa.com/

My 2nd question, should i return the Bag... forget about the sleeve, and get the
    http://www.brenthaven.com/catalog-fusion-black.html#

Which i am VERY tempted to get, after seeing this video...

    http://podcasts.macnn.com/brenthaven.m4v

    Seems like hella good protection.

    In conclusion:

    > Wait till Shinza makes a 13.3 ZeroShock in september (Confirmed in development here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=64476&page=3 )

    > Get the Waterfield sleeve, if someone can vouch for its toughness...

    > Get the STM Rebound, if someone can vouch for its toughness... ( http://www.macmall.com.au/mall/customer/product.php?productid=2406 ) .. seems similar to the ZeroShock from Shinza!

    > Get the AXIO, and pay out the nose :*(

    > Screw all the cases, and get the bag from brenthaven... seems like **** good protection. But i hear its WAY wide, with NO room. (wide due to the protection... heavy duty protection it seems)

..........You tell me :) thanks :)

similar if not identical to the shinza is the sumdex impactguard sleeve. it has the same memory foam except it has handles. i stuff it in my backpacks and now my chrome messenger. i did a review of it here

edit: and it's cheaper, probably 20 or so for the 13 if they have it
