    hey

i was just wondering what you guys recommend me to get in terms of notebook sleeves for 14 inch notebooks?

should i get a sleeve or a like messenger thing. i have one for my m40, but it seems sometimes really cumbersome. thats why i was interested in getting a sleeve. but then i was wondering what i would do wihtout the actually many compartments of a messenger bag.

can anyone direct me to some good manufacturers or products?

the PERFECT thing for me is a 14inch messenger bag type thing WITH a sleeve included lol. so anything pop into anyones mind? man i seem all over the place lol

    TIA

    www.ebags.com.
14" computers will fit in the timbuk2 commute. I keep my 14" t43 in a sumdex impactguard and a normal timbuk2 medium messenger bag without issues.

    hey everyone.

well i decided to get this http://ca.samsonite.com/webapp/ca/servlet/SProductDisplay?productId=191589&storeId=10051&langId=1

i like it, its alot more stylish and comfortable thne my old laptop bag (it might also be because my old laptop is heavier but meh).

i thikn im also going to get the sumdex 14 inch sleeve as well.

    again, THX

EDIT: god ****, very few retailersfo for sumdex in canada where i can just get it. i mean honestly, 30 bucks +10 dollars in shipping before tax on a laptop SLEEVE?@!

some find this justified, i dont. i mena not everyone has tornado, hurricane, blizzard, <insert ridiculous almost-zero-probability-natural disaster here>...

I just got a Samsonite backpack for my laptop. I think the model is "Typhoon series". I paid $40 shipped for it. I like it a lot! The case fits my XPS M140 perfectly. The bag is very nice and padded. It feels good! :)

well a notebook sleeve is a bag thats designed to carry the laptop only and nothing else.

most bags, like the one i got, carry everything and more :D

    Eh, this may sound stupid
    but what's a shoulder harness?

    http://www.ebags.com/products/index.cfm?modelid=48718

this messenger looks good + practical enuf, but im still partial to backpacks. but one of the reviews said it has a 'shoulder harness for functionality'; if that means we can use it like a backpack too.. im sold. :p what's a shoulder harness again? :$

comes in black, red, and blue.. but ebags (the only one offering it on sale) only have red in stock..

a sleeve still more practical though

Shoulder harness means you toss it over one shoulder and let it hang off to one side.
