What backpacks can hold a wet umbrella outside them? horizontally, vertically, some way to attach/hold in

A backpack large enough to hold a 15 inch, 1.5 inch thick laptop. Or larger. Just as large as possible and black.

The closest thing I have found is my targus demolition backpack but, but my targus laptop backpack has some pockets but long enough for a medium length umbrella. One of the straps has started to tear and I am looking for another one. By the way, what do you do when your laptop backpack straps are starting to tear?

I think that something with a net holder or a way to strap the umbrella to the backpack horizontally would be idea.

Yes I know I can get a mini umbrella which I do use in a pinch but it's not ideal during a downpour.

I use a simple lanyard with a clip and just clip it to the top of my travel bag ( I have never used a backpack )
