I was at bestbuy yesterday looking at different cases for my soon to arrive HP dv6t and of course the 16" laptops don't really have alot of support in the sleeve and such field. I was wondering if any of you guys happen to know of any place that sells keep on sleeves for 16" laptops yet. I'm new to the laptop scene so not sure where to start. Thanks.

Yes I have an HDX 16t and have struggled to fund items like this, a sleeve or skin would be nice.

I'm thinking that as 16" screens become more available the sleeve peps will start to bring out the stuff for them.

Try Sony VGP-AMC7 Vaio Neoprene Case for FW Series at about $20
    They are for 16.4" laptop.
Or try looking in Dell.com, Studio XPS 16 Accesories

I also just bought a HP HDX16t and am having a really hard time finding a sleeve. I already use a messenger back so I just need a sleeve and so far the only items I have been able to find for 16 inches are like luggage bags and backpacks.

Has anyone looked at sfbags.com? They have a few sleeves in a plethora of sizes.

Zeroshock III 15.4" people are saying might work possibly as well as the Belkin Neoprene Notebook Sleeve for 15.4.

I would love to get the zeroshock if it does fit, but seems more people are saying the Belkin fits compared to the zeroshock.

My HDX16t arrives tomorrow :D & I'm lookin' at this ZeroShock on eBay:

    [IMG] [IMG]

    Supposed to fit perfectly - inside of the sleeve is W14.8 x D1.6 x H10.8 inch (W375×D40×H275mm) & 14.9 (W) x 10.0" (D) x 1.31 (min H)/1.70(max H) for the new machine. Dunno if it'll fit other 16"s ...

Under 40$ shipped, not too bad. Here's the link, also available in orange, just search for this same model http://cgi.ebay.com/ZEROSHOCK-III-15-4-LAPTOP-CASE-BAG-HP-HDX-16T-SERIES_W0QQitemZ220356532922QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCA_Laptop_Accessoreis?hash=item220356532922&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

For now I ordered a basic Belkin neoprene 15.4 inch sleeve for the hdx16t. Read it fits and is a good seal. The Zeroshock for 17inch might be too big. Not sure. When you get it let us know. It is one of the best sleeves out there.

Built makes a 17" sleeve that fits the HDX 16t PERFECTLY. I went on a search today all around town, and it was the only thing that fit well. Picked mine up at Office Depot for $40. Not cheap, but completely worth it IMO. This baby deserves more protection than the cotton "pillowcase" provided by HP in the packaging. The case fits snug on all four sides, while the laptop slides in and out smoothly. I am extremely happy with this case; it's not too tight, and it's not loose. There are a few different designs, I just went with the black.

There is some space between the laptop and the sleeve in the corners, but that's how the sleeve is designed. It allows the case to be zipped up without the zipper contacting (and possibly scratching) the laptop. And for looks too, I guess.

And the pictures to prove it!

    Laptop/case size comparison:

And partially unzipped to prove the laptop is actually inside :p

    Here they are: http://www.builtny.com/mm5/merchant...&Product_Code=E-LS17-BLK&Category_Code=E-LS17

    and they're on amazon too.

    You're welcome. :)

Im struggle finding cases for XPS M1730, I need like huge suitcases to fit the darn thing in. I'm surprised they don't stop me in the airport and deem my 1730 as a weapon. Trust me if I run crysis on high I can burn that X-RAY machine!
