As above, need a bag that will hold books and my laptop for college. Needs to have separate, dedicated areas for the laptop(preferably nice and padded) and books respectively, and pens/laptop accesories etc...

Price range, preferably around $50, no more than $100.

Consider the Kensington Contour messenger bag. Its quite stylish and well built.

    Check out Spire.

I have their messenger bag for my 17" laptop, and it's got tons of room, and is extremely comfortable and good-looking.
