for my first yr of college next yr I am trying to figure out what to do for a tv. I have a 20 inch tv in my room but the thing is so big..especially deep..that i dont think it will fit very well in my room. I dont really have the money for an lcd tv.

so my question is how could i make a spare 19 lcd monitor into a tv? would it be possible to play video games on it as well with the setup? how well would it work?

give me your opinions and/or suggestions.

    thanks

Look for tv tuners, which you would plug into the laptop, and then you connect the laptop to the monitor.

Get a monitor with a built in TV tuner. Or you could just buy a LCD TV.

You can hook up a monitor to a VCR/DVD Player with a TV tuner in it if you use a VGA Box, but they can get expensive, and the cheap ones have been known to give a crappy signal.
