So far on my own search i've seen the Creative Gigaworks T20/T40 and the Logitech Z-10 where these are all in the same performance range any input on these? or suggestions on others would be great. I'm looking to replace my logitech 5.1 system where i blew the sub almost a half year ago and currently just using the satellites to listen. So i decided to look for a 2.0 system so i can use it on my laptop and my zen when i don't want my laptop on.

cheap and portable logitech v20's
for not portalbe but the best quality the klipsch is the best but its a 2.1 -
How about the Bose Companion 2. They offer mindblowing sound for a 2.0 system.

What's your budget?

if you plan on using it w/ something other than your lappie, don't get the v20. they're usb powered only, with no option of plugging into a headphone port.

I find bose to be one of those products that sell by name and not by there value. Sure they sound good but the price is not even close to what it should be.
Like an alienware computeror a apple product
just as there is "apple tax" there is definitly "bose tax" and I find any serious audiophile stays away from that brand like the plauge, check any audiophile forum and see for yourself if you cant take my word for it. -
BOSE IS BEST!!!
i might be joking... -
I have to check out the bose store when i'm on break. lol i keep forgetting that its there...

Just bought myself a pair of Klipsch Promedia Ultra 2.0 speakers. Sound quality is great. Don't even need a sub.
Best of all, it's got small footprint. My table is as cluttered as it is now. There's also no wires tangling up around. -
