I'm looking for a good pair of speakers for my HP DV5T (which is arriving on Tuesday by the way, can't wait!). I'm on a budget of up to 100 euro (i.e. 150 dollars) and I'm looking for speakers that do well in games, movies and music. Power doesn't concern me, it's actually a bonus if the output is lower, because I'll have them in my student room so they mustn't be so powerfull that I'll get someone knocking on my door every 5 minutes.
Brand isn't important. So far, these look best to me:

What do you guys think?
Also, is the integrated audio card (Intel High Definition) good enough for such speakers? What are the other options?
Thanks!![]()

I suggest Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 for speakers, I've tried others in their price range and they do really well. Your on board sound card will work, but you might notice a difference if you upgrade it. I've been eyeballing the M-Audio Transit because its cheap and people say it does well. I'm currently using a Creative X-mod, and well.. I don't think I'll ever buy another product from creative unless they really turn their company around.
