I'm planning on buying an external harddrive that will last me for at least 5 years maybe (2.5 in since the other ones are too big to travel with).
I'm not sure which one I should get since I am hearing good things about both of them. If I plan on accessing this drive at least twice a week, how long would they last and which company makes a more reliable drive?
Should I go for the freeagent or the passport?
Thanks!

Personally I am more in favour of Seagate due to its 5-yr warranty compared to WD's 2yrs. But buying your own 2.5'' hdd and then an external enclosure for it might be the cheaper way to go

7200rpm 3.5" might be more suitable if your not gonna move the ext. HDD around. Downfall is it needs external AC power.
