    Hello,

I just bought Samsung 20" LCD (205bw) and it's fantastic. I hook it up with my laptop, everything runs fine but the LCD came with the CD driver. My question is do you need to install the driver?

    Thanks guy!

Well im not sure about yours. But i helped a friend that got a new pc and the stuff waset looking right we installed the driver and it looked much more clear. Wont hurt to use the right lcd driver just make sure you replace the right one on your laptop.

No need. You'll never reach that resolution with your laptop probably, nor will you need it!!! no need for the cd

Funny, I keep checking prices on that monitor, and going back and forth if I want/need it!

Seems like an excellent monitor for the $$$.... curious where you got it.

    Thanks

Amyb15 are you making fun of my laptop? :D j/k. It might be old but still gets the job done. I can run max res 1680x1050 in normal windows like web surfing and almost everything but not in games. I'll try to install the driver to see what happen. I got the LCD from NCIX for $319 CND but on the web site it's $329 that's weird eh? This LCD is AWESOME I'll never got back to smaller ones again :) I just can't!!

    Thanks everyone!
