I'm looking for a 20" LCD. My biggest concern is movie watching so I want it to have good color. I'm especially concerned about the blacks: I know that LCDs don't do well with black, but I don't want to be watching a David Lynch movie and have the effect ruined because everything's washed out!

I'm looking at the HP w2007, the Dell E207WFP and the Viewsonic VA2026W. I suppose I should also be considering the Dell Ultrasharp 2009W but that's starting to edge out of my price range.

I've read tons of reviews and posts and things but it's really impossible for me to get a good sense of these monitors from that.. and I don't really have anywhere I can go to see them in person. So if you have one of these I'd love to hear about it. Thanks in advance.

The ultrasharp dells are much better than the regular ones. I have plenty at work to compare the difference between and the ultrasharps are obviously better blacks and color levels as well as brighter too. The blacks are better than on my sony lcd and is brighter too. (i have both side by side atm)

The Dell Ultrasharps are good, but expensive, TN panels. Samsung also has some good monitors. I have the Samsung 2253BW (22") and it has great color reproduction.
