This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    In anticipation of Black Friday and the 2010 holiday shopping season, I thought it might be appropriate to have a thread dedicated exclusively to the exchange any specials deals, ideas or bargains that might pop up.

    In addition, this might also serve as a good spot to get a quick reference and/or feedback (or warning) on any deals that might not be a clear winner.
