Definitely a fake, hell even a lot of the 32Gb ones are fake. I purchased a 32GB one from Amazon some time ago and it failed my testing, the replacement failed my testing too so I got a refund. The seller insisted they were legit which made me wonder whether the seller was simply fooled as well.

These were out last year too, eBay and Amazon sellers selling like 16gb ones as 128gb or something for like $30-$40. Came out around Black Friday last year.

    lol

I like how they get great reseller ratings by selling cheap recipes or envelopes and then they use that to get people to buy the fake stuff.

I remember a similar case where the USB will show 128GB (or whatever) of usuable space, but then the user can only store like 4GB worth of actual data. I laff.

If you ever find yourself even thinking either of those two things, then you are probably right.

The damage you suffer from it actually turning out to be a scam (which it probably is) far outweighs any benefit you get from it actually being true (which is probably isn't).

As mentioned, its a fake. The drive is probably 2gb or 4gb, but the drive has been modified to show 256gb on bios/my computer. It will crash when anything over the real space capacity is filled.
