    Hi NBR users,

I've recently ordered a Clevo W860CU and waiting for it to arrive, and i figured i needed some accessories to go with it.
Preferably i'd like to be able to buy these stuff in europe (to avoid eventual taxes) but ebay is fine too.

    1. Backpack/Bag. It should be padded and should be able to fit a DSLR with 2 lenses. The design isn't much of an issue but i'd like something that doesn't scream "GAMERZZZ 1337". Professional black/grey only is my preference.

    2. Lapdesk. I've been looking at the Logitech N700 since it provides it with speakers and a fan. The problem with this is that it doesn't seem very portable (seeing how it bends) and that would probably become a issue if i needed to pack when going away. It's rather bulky i'd imagine as well.
I'd prefer a lapdesk that provides the laptop with some cooling, almost flat (for travel) and if possible, space for a small mousepad.
If i can't find one that's travelfriendly i guess i'll just take a wooden board to elevate the laptop somewhat when in my lap.

    3. External battery. This isn't very important at the moment, and i've noticed they don't come cheap so this is most likely a future buy. In the W860CU owners thread a user talked about the Xpal ( XPAL Power | Products : XP18000 ) and it looked nice.
I just want something that would extend the battery on my laptop for about an hour or two, nothing major. I need it to be compatible with my laptop of course and Swedish outlets. Weight doesn't really matter, but price does.

Any help and tips is appreciated!

For the bag, backbag doesn't really look very professional. For messenger bag, it's quite hard to find a bag that fit the 860CU because of the unique thickness, you will have to get 17" messenger bags to fit it, I'm ordering a timbuk2 race stripe, the only 15" messenger bag that can fit a 860CU because of the flexible design of the notebook compartment, it's black/grey, though there's a thin stripe of red, personally I think it looks stylish but not sure if it suits you.

That really depends on the design. Some of the newer ones (*shell case) can be quite dignified in actually.

Still, even the most austere of them will still be a backpack. So if presentation is of paramount importance, a messenger will move you a bit forward up the importance scale. However, even they are still below the **hard case--which is the pinnacle in business carriers.

    That targus looks amazing.

Maybe i wasn't quite clear of the looks or what i needed the bag for, but it's just for traveling. It wouldn't be used in a office/presentation type of environment.
What i meant with "professional looking" i meant it not being very flashy or colorful. Just something plain that looks as sleek as it can get.
And while it maybe looks better with a messenger bag, it probably wouldn't fit a DSLR camera with two lenses. I already have a bag for my DSLR and an old messenger bag för my old laptop, but want a more 2-in-1 solution.
When traveling (which is quite frequently for me) i only want to be carry max 2 bags (1 for clothes, 1 for electronics).

I'm not sure if it'll fit the DSLR and 2 lenses in the side pockets, but I've personally been using a Shaun Jackson Design • Higher Ground Big BackOffice for the last, oh, 4-5 years almost daily. I should warn you that this is a pretty big beefy bag (I have an old 17" Gateway NX860XL in the laptop compartment, a PS2 style USB gamepad, HP pocket media drive, ethernet and S-Video cable in one side pocket, and my power supply and microsoft trackball in the other pocket, as well as a few sundries scattered throughout). It comes with the option of being used as a backpack, or going to a single strap as a shoulder bag (I don't usually use this, as I'm a little short, and doing that means it hangs pretty low against my leg). Unfortunately, these bags were mostly designed back in the 16:10 era, from what I can tell, so the W860CU is a little wide for most of the 15" versions (It seems it might have fit in the discontinued regular BackOffice). From the sounds of it, you're in Europe, and they seem to have a reseller in France. I don't know how shipping would work out, though.

Bookmarking that site, thank you! The design on those were amazing. Very clean and sleek looking. I doubt even the big backoffice could fit a DSLR though.

Anyone care to give me some insights on the other accessories i'm looking for? An external battery (since the battery time is quite low on the clevos) and a lapdesk (for home use and traveling)?

Bumping and adding a new request.
I was lookin at this thread
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/accessories/492965-i-think-might-sickness-another-bag.html
And the bags posted looked really nice.
    Warwick - Brompton - Collections - Men
That one looks like it actually could fit a DSLR as well.

Is there any good similar bags (faux leather would be fine) that has a similar design for a reasonable price? Reasonable as in, not over $150?
It needs to fit the same requirements as in OP, but the colours isn't set in stone (i could go for brown for example).

    What i'd prefer it to fit would be;
Clevo W860CU 15,6". Power adapter. A small mouse pad + mouse. DSLR with attached lens (and another spare if possible but not necessary) plus it's charger.

    Thanks!

Bumping because i'm buying a lapdesk some time this week.

I'm looking at the Logitech N700 but it doesn't seem very portable. That bend would prove problematic with most bags.

Any recommendations? I'd also like some more input on bags.
A big laptop bag in fake leather for an affordable price would be nice.

look at the ogio line they have some that are laptop/camera backapcks and most of theyr stuff comes in black and other patterns as well...

btw the ogio hiphop messanger bag fits the 8690 nicely and will also fit the power brick...i would have bought it but fitting my headset inthere looked a bit bulky..but if it was just laptop, brick, and mouse i would have bought it.
