    Hey all,

I will be travelling to Denmark from USA in about a months time. OF course, I want to bring my notebook with me but I'm a bit concerned at the moment because I want to use my notebook there but I'm not quite sure what I should be looking for as far as adapters go.

    1) is it even safe to plug in an American plug from a converter into a European plug? don't want to fry my laptop :D
    2) Can anyone recommend a good product for achieving this?

    Thank you!

edit: would something like this be good? http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Travel-Adapter-Charger-33346/dp/B000BTL0OU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

    1. There is no risk of frying your computer. If you look on the bottom of the PSU you should see something like "100-250V, 50-60Hz". The manufacturers sell the same PSUs all over the world.

    2. You should be able to find cheaper plug adaptors that will convert the 2 US flat pins to 2 European round pins. The multi-pin devices can be a bit heavy and bulky.

This is the travel adapter I use when I go international. Works pretty well, and it's fairly compact, easy to carry, and it'll work with pretty much any standard socket anywhere.
