Is there any way to play games on my dell 1520 using my wireless xbox 360 controller without the wireless adapter. I was hoping I could plug in the usb cord that comes with the play and charge kit and just use it via usb. Any help would be appreciated...thanx

nope the way you want to use does not work, get a wired controller if you want a direct connection, otherwise you need the adapter.

all the usb chord does is charge the controller. the wireless controller doesnt communicated through the usb cable, it is still wireless when it is plugged in. so like vicious said...wired controller or the adapter.

Yeah, screw Microsoft. Can't believe they created a controller for the XBOX 360 and it doesn't work perfectly with other things. Also, screw Dell, for not including a wireless receiver for the 360 inside the Inspirons.

Wow go lithus, defender of all that is evil. All I really meant is that it sux it wont work even though it's plugged in considering there both MS products. And I didnt mention Dell at all, but thank you for having nothing positive or useful to contribute.
