    Hey all,

Just purchased a Verbatim 2.4 GHz wireless laser mouse. Works well but this thing is making me crazy because it looks like it is constantly going into "power saving...." mode after about 5 seconds of non use???

For example, if the mouse has not been moved or a button has not been clicked within 5 seconds....you have to either: move the mouse and then left click like normal or left click twice for the thing to work properly.

Not that noticeable during normal PC work (besides the double clicks necessary)....try playing a game though...it's a killer.

Anybody know of a solution. Besides me jumping on the thing  ??

    Cheers

Does it come with any drivers? Search around there might be a way to change the time it takes for it to go into power saving mode o_O

Happens quite a lot for Razer Mamba >:[ Though it's quite fixed a bit (shortened wakeup time) with new firmware

Thanks....comes with drivers. Tried all. Hell, it's annoying though.

Great mouse....just sleeps too quickly. I can understand a couple of minutes..but 5 seconds is too quick. It's like power saving on Steroids.

    Cheers

I am going to visit the Verbatim site. See if anything is listed there.....otherwise I am getting rid of it.

Nothing found = done with this Rat (Mouse).

Will not buy another Verbatim product again. Rather give it to a co worker that can utilise it for "normal" office tasks. Until it decides to sleep/powersave/whatever. Rediculous.
