    Hello all.

This is my first post on this site and I have no idea whether this is the right place to ask this.....

I have an HP Pavilion dv2630ea with 5 in 1 car reader and remote/expansion port on the side. I am able to use my SD card in it fine but I can't seem to get any other kind of card read ok in it. Does anyone know how to use say a Sony style memory card in it?

Thank you in advance of any reply

    Andy

What type of card are you trying to put in it? Here are the cards supported by your model: SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card. If it's not listed above, like the memory stick pro duo or something, then I'm guessing it won't work.

    Thank you for your reply.

I think the card is a Duo. The kind that goes in the PSP.

I will buy myself an external reader.
