    Going nuts with research here.

After some 5.1 headphones for my Laptop.

I have found teh Medusa 5.1 series that look OK but want portability so would be looking at teh USB version - which I heard ain't so good (anyone tell me otherwise?)

I have a "spdif" socket on my laptop - is this not ideal for this type of thing? Can anyone recommend anything?

Found these which looked ideal if a little pricy but they company has disappeared.

    Any other suggestions?

The MG-AC97 True 5.1 Surround Sound Headset from LTB costs less and gets better user reviews.
