It's been awhile since the notebook bag sticky has been updated so I figured I would start a new thread.

I have a 18 month old Targus Drifter 2 that suits my space needs almost perfectly but is falling apart, two broken zippers and some ripped fabric have me looking for a sturdy replacement. While reading reviews I saw someone referenced 5.11 bags. These see sturdy and from what I'm reading it seems as though you can put a laptop in the hydration sleeve.

Has anyone used one of these bags?

In case anyone want to try this I'll update this. I bought a 5.11 72 bag, It has the build quality I was looking for but not the functionality, the main compartment would hold my GT73VR with no problem but there is no easy way to get it in and out. I hate to return it because it so well built but I just can't find a reason to keep it.

I guess It's back to comparing the Everki Titan and Oakley kitchen sink.
