like $6 in tax and a $70 shipping fee. Tossed it on a credit card.

So like $90ish total but for a 52" HDTV w/ 120hz I'll go ahead and pay the interest on it

Though that card has a low limit, if they were sly and tried to charge the real value it would go over my limit. But I cant see them doing that, at worst probably refunding the money and canceling the order.

Considering the ship date is the 17th I doubt it will sit that long

We have seen many people get bad price items honored though before but usually from big companies like HP or Dell.

lol well considering you can resell it for like a 1000% profit I think its a deal still.

 

It seems like the worst that can happen is that BB will recognize their mistake and either ask you to pay the full amount or return the TV for a full return.

 

this has already been posted on all of the 'deal' sites. many have been ordered. no way this thing gets shipped out at this price.

But before its shipped they can easily and legally cancel the order and issue a refund. I know they cant charge me the full amount without my consent just saying above that it would suck if they did

 

Well, I guess we'll see what they have to say about this. Hopefully they'll honor the price, or at least offer some kind of gift certificate for the inconvenience.

Ya I was doing my Gizmodo check and saw it and jumped on it.
I figure they will cancel it but hey, it's worth a shot. Odds are they will will just cancel it and refund it automatically. If they were to charge me the full retail without my permission then a crapstorm is going to be unleashed. Heck, can they even do that? That's the only thing I am worried about.

I just consulted google (I'm bad at googling though, so you may want to check yourself D) but I saw people say if money changed hands, then a contract was made and the seller must deliver the goods.

would absolve them of that obligation. The only way you could get anything out of this was to show that this was a bait-and-switch, which I'm fairly certain that it is not. I think it's just some low payed lackey who entered the numbers wrong and BB will correct it as soon as they find out that people had 52" TVs shipped for ~$100.

I don't think Bet Buy's made up policies overrule state laws, but you could be right. I guess only time will tell.

And if they cancel it I'm going to go make a scene in there store/use legitimae arguments that they have to sell it to me. What could go wrong

lol it can be canceled at any time, not sure about you but my earliest ship time was 08/17 so they have quite a bit of time to fix the mistake.

Oh I know thats why I ordered one. I was talking to the person above though not you where he is checking his status so often like if he can get past the next few hours he is in TV land.

My order came up after a few refreshes, still not canceled and It's already 9:00AM EST.

Probably like 800 people pegging there page to check order status and stuff every 5 minutes and has just about broke the site. I imagine they pulled the product page as a quick fix to prevent any more orders and to start the cover up.

Maybe we can keep the page down so bad that they cant get into there info to reverse the orders before they ship it out

You guys know that I use a 37" HDTV as my computer monitor right? Im typing while laying in bed and can read stuff clear as day. If I get this TV its not replacing my 37" I am going to dual monitor setup with the 52" & 37" together
