Hey all,
I am trying to find a particular type of case for my new ThinkPad T500 (15.4" screen). I want to know if it exists.
I want a sling/messenger/backpack case that will fit on my laptop and allow me to open and use my laptop without taking the case off itself. Something I can sling on like a backpack or over my shoulder.
Kind of like a hardshell you get for your cellphone that still allows you to use the laptop but you dont have to take the case off to do so.
Does this type of case exist?
What are my options? Do I need to get one custom made?

I doubt you can find one with a sling. Is this the general idea (without the sling, and obviously, this is for a Macbook, not a ThinkPad)

I couldn't find anything for a T500, and I seriously doubt there is a product out there that can be bought (not custom made). -
Kind of the right idea yeah. Basically a hardshell/softshell fitted case with straps attached that allows you to use your laptop without taking the case off.
Im surprised not alot of companies offer these.
If any of you manufacturer's are listening this would be the next big revolution in laptop accessories! Look how cool they are for cellphones.
The PortPack from Speck looks like nice too but you cant use your laptop with it on. -
Civilian Lab makes exactly what I am looking for except they only make it for the Macbook.
