This booq sleeve measures 13.75"x9.5"x 1.2"

    http://booqbags.com/s.nl/it.A/id.80/.f

What are the odds it will fit a laptop measuring 13.2"x9.4"x 1.4"

Has anyone used this Built NY sleeve?

If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Are there any other notebook sleeves out there like the booq above that will fit snuggly around my laptop while maintaining a small profile to slip in and out of a messenger bag?

Lastly, is anyone aware of a protective pouch that would fit the ultrabay dvd drive on the thinkpads?

    Thanks,
    Bryan

Try one of the tom bihn brain cells. You can pick thinkpad from their fit list and see which one fits it (probably the size 4). If you have an extended battery, email them and see what they say?

I suggest a WaterField Designs SleeveCase instead of a Booq sleeve. It's not that Booq doesn't make good products (they do), but I have yet to see a better-made sleeve. Check out my review here:

They will custom-fit a sleeve to your laptop so you won't have to worry about dimensions.

It's one of the few booq's I've not read great things about. That it's just kind of thin and stiff. I haven't seen one in person, but I'd guess not very protective.

But your priorities are more about form fitting and least bulky? That might be a good option for you.
