Hey guys, I am looking for a gaming mouse, but I want it to work on most surfaces without a mouse pad. Ill be using it in my bed and a desk. Are there any good mouses that can do that?

I went and got the razer orochi. It didn't work on glass. So I might try the logitech.

I use a Logitech G700 mouse with my laptop and I've used it on most surfaces without issue. I have not tried it on glass though. I would recommend the mouse as long as you don't mind the rechargeable battery lasting about a week or so of normal use.

If you can live with wired, get a Logitech G400. If you want wireless, get a Logitech M705 Maraton Mouse.

For mousing on imperfect surfaces, you want an OPTICAL sensor over a LASER sensor. Laser sensors have higher max DPI sensitivity. But DPI is useless above about 1600+ dpi,

Additionally, laser sensors are much pickier about being put on perfect mousing surfaces (e.g. a mousepad). If you're going to be mousing on non-ideal mousing surfaces, you might as well get a mouse that is a bit more tolerant to that.

I use the Logitech Anywhere mouse a lot too. It's actually very comfortable to use so if I want to spend my weekend gaming I don't have to deal with hand cramps. It has a pretty amazing battery file too. I rarely recharge my batteries, which is great for me.
