Does anyone have any experience with the APC Universal Notebook battery

    http://apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=UPB80

Im wondering what type of battery life it truly provides and if it will work with a Sony S series laptop

Unless you need totally un-interrupted operation for an extended period. Why would you want one when you can probably buy 2 more internal battery for the same price and weight.

yeah but that would be a pain to try and juggle 3 different batteries, and with the apc I could always use to recharge other items.

Be absolutely certain your EXACT model laptop is supported in their datasheets, make no assumptions about what "should" work or basing from model similarities. Be sure the power tips will be a precise match for input also.
