    As long as the warranty is good. I personally stay away from ANY 3rd party batteries, got enough bad experience from them. But others have better lucks.

    Investigate the company. If they don't have any reputation don't do business with them. A warranty is only as good as the company that stands behind it.

    Incidentally, wouldn't you agree that it's time laptop manufacturers started standardizing the battery compartment. They've made enough money from proprietary design by now.
