    Hello everyone,
I'm going to buy ASUS Zenbook UX310UA very soon and I'm looking for a solution how to plug into it two external monitors - one via HDMI, the other via VGA. This model has standard HDMI port and also an USB-C port. However, it has only build-in Intel HD Graphics 520, so afaik it's not possible to for instance connect one display via built-in HDMI and the other one via USB-C --> VGA adapter - I will only be able to work with one of those displays at a time.
I know that I can buy ASUS USB3.0 HZ-3 Docking Station, which connected via USB 3.0 port has HDMI and VGA/DVI ports so I can plug two external monitors and be able to work with 3 displays actually: ultrabook's build-in display + two external ones.
I'm however looking for some cheaper solutions - support guy from Asus told me that any USB 3.0 docking station (even by another manufacturer) will do the job. So does any of you have this or similar model and could recommend something alternative?

Get a USB 3.0 docking station.

You must use special hardware that basically adds an external display adapter through a connection like USB. And that special hardware is built inside of USB docking stations.

They can be bought as cheap as $100. You're not going to find cheaper than that, for anything worth buying. Look into brands like Anker and StarTech for 3rd party peripheral manufacturers, if you don't want to buy from a 1st-tier brand name like Asus, HP, etc.
