I have an ATI USB 2.0 TV tuner, and I've found it to be horrible. Software sucks and video is choppy. Anyone else have similar experiences with ATI tv tuners? I've heard that using WinDVR speeds things up, and it did, but I can't figure out how to get the sound working. Anyone recommend any better tv tuners?

Yes, I had a similar ATI product. Since it burned out on me, I haven't purchased a single one of their products.

I had one that was FUBARed like that, actually. I took it back and exchanged it for a new one. Lo and behold it actually works pretty well now.

In my opinion ATi makes the worst Tv tuners on the market, the two ati tuners I just so happened to by in the past for my desktops have lower quality than the avermedia ones in my laptop. I like Avermedia, I think when I get some more money I am going to purchase their tv tuner which runs on the pci express interface.
