Does anybody know when (or if) this will be available for purchase in the U.S.?

hewlett packard makes an express card tv tuner, that is if you are looking to buy one, it works on any laptop with an E.C. slot

Ah ok, that's good to know it will work with any laptop with EC. I think I saw the HP before, but on their site they made it sound like it was really only for HP's laptops.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it seemed better than to make my own on the same topic.
Firstly, can anyone link me to the said HP TV Tuner?
Also, are there any good ones with a USB type interface? I need one with VGA/S-Video input for things like game consoles. -
Here's a link to the HP-- http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/product_detail.do?product_code=EP323AA#ABA
From what I understand, it's best to go with an Expresscard/PCMCIA/Card Bus TV tuner if you plan on hooking a game console up to it. I guess it's because of the faster speeds compared to even a USB 2.0
AVerMedia Expresscard Tuner?
