I currently own a 32" 1080p tv. I've had it for a week, and I'm wondering, should I return to costco and with a 720p? When using it as a monitor, i find some text to be quiet small and I have to make a website bigger (ctrl + scroll wheel) to read comfortably.

I tried to just lower the resolution outputting from my pc but it didn't work w/ the resolutions for some reason.

Made this post elsewhere about it:

I don't have much experience with HDTV's, but I am wondering why my tv freezes and gets all screwed up whenever i try using other resolutions such as 1360x768, 1440x900, etc. It works fine on 1920x1080, 1650x1080, and a couple of other widescreens. Any reason why? It seems it doesn't do this for things that are already tv resolutions like x480 x720 and x1080. There seems to be some exceptions though, only one i can think of right now is really tiny resolutions like 1024x768.

It works fine for any 4:3.
