    Hello Everyone.
So today is a good day, I ordered my first gaming laptop. I am wondering what kind of accessories I should buy for it and which brands/models to buy for it. I would like to know what stuff is important (if anything) and what is a waste of money. Things like mouse (wired/wireless), cooling pad, etc. I do know I want a backpack, so if anyone has good suggestions for a well padded backpack (or something to protect it), under $100. The laptop is 17.3in, so I know I'll need a large backpack, but if possible, a slim one will be nice.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Cooling Pad: Notepal U3 and you want to modd and put bigger fans on it
Mouse: Really look aroumd, quite a few goods ones from Logitech/Razer/Corsair
Mousepad: Again, have a look around.. I use a simple £5 Steelseries Qck mini mousepad and its lasted 4 years.. Bought a replacement but haven't needed to use it yet.
Bagpack: Asus ROG Bagpack and Alienware Vindicator/Alienware bagpacks are good..

Might wanna get a wired Xbox 360 controller for some games.

Targus XL and Everki Beacon/Titan are also backpacks to recommend.

Well all I have is a mousepad + mouse + Asus ROG bagpack... Honestly, anything more than that is not needed for me..

Do you not use a cooler? Are they even worth it? I bought a Sager NP8278-S. Haven't heard anything negative about its stock cooling.

Well honestly, I need a cooler... My CPU temps regularly are in the 90s and my GPU temps have been creeping up from the 60-70s... I used a few books to prop it up which seems to help but a cooler like the U3 is what I need.. I just don't like having the laptop at an angle on it so I guess I'll just have to clean the insides and repaste the CPU again.. MX-4 is just so .. Should have used ICD...

How do you keep track of the temps? Is this just an app that I can get? Or do I actually have to buy something to do it? I haven't recieved my laptop yet, but I would like to keep track of heat while gaming.

Throttlestop and NVinspector is enough to monitor basic temps.

A good wired mouse but read the reviews from users to that will give a better review of which one will fit your need and a good pair of headset with Mic if you plan on group gaming those could cost upwards of $100 or more for good mouse and headset could start from $100 and up. As for cooling if the pad your everyday purchase forget it unless as other mentioned you can MOD it to have bigger fans to offset heat from the laptop itself. Laptop bag should be one well padded and insulted and not be obvious to thief that you have a laptop in there. Also since this is international forum it will be up to you to look at your local shops around there to find the parts listed here but to make sure they are of high quality and have good online review to backup their claims of QC products. But is your laptop the Sagar you got now listed on your signature?

Put this way you would be better to make vent holes in your desk where you laptop rest on this would do a far better job at keeping your laptop well ventilated and cool then any standard cooling pad could every do. Or have a stand your laptop sits on top that has proper air flow under it will also do just as much a standard cooling pad could do as well and you don't waste power plug to use it.
