I use a 22inch sceen with my acer aspire one and I was wondering if it was possible to connect a second one, I know you can get like a usb device that does it, but I'm not sure what ones the best or if my acer aspire one can handle it, thanks.

well, since the aspire one only has a vga out, the only way to drive the second monitor is through USB, meaning that the CPU would have to work more to display the second one....

possible, but i think you're aspiring too much from your acer aspire one :)

For basic 2D applications, you can use the usb graphic card. For demanding 3d, ones, don't even think about it.

I only wanted it for 2D things, I can barely run AutoCAD 2007, AutoDESK Maya 2009 and AutoDESK 3ds Max 2010, I'm saving up for a desktop so I guess I'll wait. :p

There are usb video cards too so it wont use the cpu to render the 2nd monitor.

There is also connection software that uses a network to connect two computers as dual monitors. Though you would need a computer or laptop & network to do this and not just a 2nd monitor.
