    Acer Battery

    I have an Acer Aspire 3000 series and the battery on it only runs for about an hour.... I have searched for about a week now for a different battery that lasts longer , but all i have been able to come up with is stock replacements. Does anyone out there know of another battery for this thing?? Or am I stuck with the stock one?

    The reason your battery only lasts for an hour is because of the 4-cell battery.

    I know some people have found 8-cell batteries on eBay, check there. ;)
