Ok, i need a few suggestions for my acer travelmate i am getting at the end of the month.

    1. I need a good case within a $40 that will hold my lappy, axim x30, mp3 player and some other things.

    2. i need suggestions for a good small mouse thats not too much....basically i just wanna stay in a $30 price limit, but would rather have it in the $20 price range

    3. finally, i wanna know if you think its a good idea getting one of those adapters that alows dc-ac like you can plug in your electronics that usualy go to a wal into a car thingy.

I have the wireless microsoft notebook mouse. It works great. The only complaint/annoying issue I have with it is the fact the transmiter isn't flush when you store is on the mouse. It retails for around $30, but if you look around you should be able to find it near the $20 range. The battery life is 3 months on one AA.

I've never tried the car adapters, and the targus case I have is huge and heavy. I use my backpack. Try looking up some notebook backpacks. I perfer them to shoulder cases.

I looked at some mice today at radioshack, and i found this HP kit that comes with a wired mini mouse, a 4 port replicator (usefull since i only have 2 ports on that, and some internet thingy, i'd use the mouse and port replicator, but idk if i like it saying HP.

It shouldn't matter if it says HP. I have a dell keyboard hooked up to mine laptop.

I have a shoulder case and it is very nice. I was considering a backpack but I don't regret getting the case that you hang over your shoulder.

My brother got an adapter that converts the wall plugin to a car adapter. He loves it. In fact, he occasionally sleeps with it in his hand. I'd say they are very much worth it.

As for the mouse, if it really bothers you, don't worry about it. There are lots of good deals out there, you just have to keep on looking.

Ya, i think i'll go with the HP mouse, it comes with the 4 port replicator and that internet thingy for $34! Less then what a mouse and port replicator cost.....i just don't know about quality, and the dc-ac or w/e you call it adaptor costs $36 for the good one that alows 2 of any electronics to be plugged in at a time, that means i could put a ps2 and tv in a car if i wanted to.....oh the good times there are gunna be in my car once i turn 16.
Bust anyway, i'll have my laptop and axim plugged in for charging, and my mp3 player charging through usb.

BTW, which mp3 player would you guys recommend? the Dell dj20 or the sony network walkman? not the newest $300 one, the $220-$250 one.

Not sure which sony your refering to. Maybe this one: http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=VGFAP1L&Dept=audio&CategoryName=pa_DigitalMusicPlayers_Network#

I have a friend that bought this over the ipod. Its bigger than the ipod, but its got a lot of advantages over the ipod. The color screen is amazing, and so the better batt life. and it PLAYS mp3, just get the new firmware.

I've used a dell for a few minutes. From reviews they don't seem too bad, a pretty good bargin.
