Hello everyone,
I got a new acer aspire timeline ultra m3 today and i wanted to connect my fatality creative headset to it, then i noticed i only have 1 jack for "headset" that means headset with microphone integrated, while my headset needs 2 jack one specific for headset sound and 1 specific for the microphone so now i cant use my headset. if i only plugin my headset the headset works but there is no microphone if i only plugin the microphone, the microphone isn't even "connected".
So i thought lets use a combiner so that i can put the headset sound and the mic in 2 aux that converts it to 1 aux(normally used for only sound) so that didn't work either.
What's my solution here guys? anyone got this problem as well or knows how to "fix" it?
THX in advance!

You need an adapter that converts headphone and mic in one jack, they're usually easy to find, using a headphone splitter won't work, you need a "4-pin jack" to get the functionality of both.
This is what you want: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-...54713&sr=8-10&keywords=mic+headphone+splitter.
