I was wondering what are your guys take on the Adaptec GameBridge 1410, I am new to this site and i found this place to be very helpful. I made a post, "Laptop for a U.S. Army soldier," in the "What notebook should i buy?" forum. In that post i wanted some sort of TV turner, so i could play my PS2 using my Laptop moniter. I was told in the thread that a regular TV turner maybe a bad route to playing a PS2 on my laptop, too much lag. And that this Adaptec GameBridge 1410 would be a better solution.

Do you know if it requires xp media? or will xp home will suffice? And i do believe that it runs on USB power and not a external source, which is a plus for where I am deploying.

Getting this Gamebridge (or any other suggestions you might have) would be very convient for me, as i wont have to buy a Portable DVD player, and i can travel as light as possible.
