Been thinking about picking up a LapDawg for some time now: http://www.lapdawg.com/lapdawg_details.html
-but, have heard that they break easily and only come with a 30 day warranty.
the Wizard on the other hand, comes with a lifetime warranty but I cant find any reveiws on it: http://www.laptopdesk.net/wizard-laptop-stand.html
has anyone tried any of these?

Well if you're going to use a laptop on your lap, i suppose either one of the would do the trick. But the one with the most surface would probably the most stable, albeit the most cumbersome as well.
To tell you the truth, there's a lot of college students that actually do place their laptops on their laps despite the awkward position it places the body in. Since my only laptop is currently an desktop replacement, that's not something I'm inclined to do anytime soon. But if I had not alternative, I'd definitely invest in the last one for sure.
Adjustable, multi-use laptop stands?
